A post will be dedicated to his memory,
this will take some time but I hope in a couple of dayssomething nice will be written.
This is by no means a eulogy, but I feel it is fitting to dedicate something to this great man.
It is customary to dub people "great" for their accomplishments and otherwise professional stature.
Avi Schiller was a great man, simply because he was a "mench". One of the few.
He would also say: A boor cannot be sin-fearing, an ignoramus cannot be
pious, a bashful one cannot learn, a short-tempered person cannot teach,
nor does anyone who does much business grow wise. In a place where
there are no men, strive to be a man.
